Internet

Cyber cafes are common in most major Sudanese towns, and you can expect to pay SDG 2 – 3 for one hour. It should be pointed out that while many places specifically advertise internet services (usually in Arabic), in smaller towns this is commonly an aspiration rather than a statement of fact and you might be disappointed to find computers offering little more than word-processing facitilies. A number of mid- and top-range hotels are now offering Wi-Fi, and the connection speed can be surprisingly good.

If you are going through khartoum; Sudani, MTN, and Zain all offer Wi-Fi for around SDG100 per month, plus one of payment of SDG 100-150 for the USB dongle.
