Khartoum’s colonial-era Equestrian Sports center is in Khartoum 2. Though the buildings have seen better days and the grass is long gone, races take place regularly during the winter months and it’s a good spot both for people watching and to see the renowned Darfuri hourses and their jockeys. Tickets start at SDG2 and its occasionally also possible to catch polo matches and show jumping.
