Getting there & away

• By Air: Three Airlines serve Port Sudan o a daily basis from Khartoum. For a return flight with Sudan Airways, expect to pay SDG590; with Nova Air SDG550, and Mid Airlines around SDG530. In addition, Sudan  Airways have a useful weekly connection to and from Cairo on Saturdays. The airport is located 25 KM outside the city.
• By Bus: There are coaches connecting Port Sudan and Kassala
