Greek Club: (Mek Nimir St, Khartoum 2; T: 467577) Large friendly club with swimming pool, tennis & volleyball courts as well as a football pitch. Reasonably priced restaurant on site. Annual membership costs SDG 1500; the day rate for a visitor os SDG20.

German Sudanese Club: (St 1, Amarat; T: 462438) Good sport facilities including 2 swimming pools, a gym & basketball court. Free WiFi & pleasant resturant. membership costs SDG1550 for a family (no individual rate). A member must accompany any non-member, who must pay SDG25 each per day.

Filipino Club: Africa St. Social club arranging a lively program of film screenings, cultural events & parties, most of which happen Thursday & Friday evening. No membership fee. Visit the club for details.
