Getting There & Away: If your based in Karima, take a shared taxi over the new Chinese-built bridge (SDG1.5) and then the first turn-off to Nuri. Once in the village you can walk to the site, or hire a 4×4. If you choose to walk, turn north and follow the track along the irrigation canal for 1km before turning east for the pyramids about an hour’s walk away. If you can find someone to lend or hire you a bicycle this would be a lovely ride, through free fields and palm groves.
